Snow storms and 8 months

This post will be a smorgasbord of random thoughts and pictures....

I think the whole world knows about the two back to back ice storms Atlanta had recently.  Mike and I were both lucky in that we had very little traffic getting home and were able to get to Molly (unlike many parents).  The first storm our furnace conveniently broke a few days prior.  Other than being a bit cold and stir crazy, we weathered the storms just fine.  Here are a few pics.

Our patio
Front of the house (looks much better than the dead grass=))

This is as much action as Molly got in the snow (ps in case you can't tell that isn't real snow falling down....Google Plus has some cool picture effects)
Another Google Plus picture effect
Too cute
She loves to look at herself in the mirror
Molly and her buddy Landon playing before the Superbowl
The many faces of Molly during meal time
Heading out to lunch

Shopping makes her happy

Molly ate a fist full of dirt some time before this pic...wish I had captured the moment haha
Finally a play date with BFF Madeline
I think Miss Madeline is well trained...she would look at the camera perfectly every time=)
Not amused
No more pictures Mom!

 Playing dress up with Mommy!

I told you this post would be random.  I discovered a new app on my phone called Waterlogue.  I have been having way too much fun "transforming" my pictures to "paintings".  Here are a few favorites.

On the second snow day I decided to have Molly partake in a little photo shoot with her friends.  It was hard to get her to stay still but I think they turned out pretty cute!

Lastly, here are Molly's 8 month pictures.  I think they sum her up pretty well.  Always on the go and wanting to put everything in her mouth!  That sticker lasted about 2 minutes before Molly started gnawing on it haha.
My happy, spunky, and overly curious 8 month old!  She sure knows how to maker her mamma smile!

Things I want to remember for this month:
-Molly has been "crawling" around like crazy. It's not full fledged traditional crawling but it's a combo of army crawl, rolling, and yoga-like moves.  Either way, she gets across the room in no time
-Molly has learned to go from sitting to crawling and then back to sitting....Mike found her sitting up in her crib the other morning.  I'm sure she will be pulling up to stand in no time!
-Molly has had a pretty healthy month...thank goodness!!!
-Molly has started feeding herself the bottle (when she feels like it).
-We have started introducing Molly to "real" food.  We have given her puffs, cut up blueberries, zucchini, and broccoli.  She pretty much loves all food and loves to feed her self.

Molly June, you make us so happy!  Thank you for continuing to bring us so much joy.  I could be having the worst day at work, but when I come home and see your smile, all is right in the world! xoxo-Mom
