Winter Fun! (but we are ready for Spring)

I am quite proud that this is my 2nd blog update in a month!  Probably because blogging is more fun than packing for my 2nd of 3 trips in a two week span.

A few weeks back Molly and I went to brunch with some friends.  Molly thought her aunties were much cooler than mommy.....

On our way to brunch - serious faces

For Superbowl Sunday, we were so glad that our buddies Sandy and Britton came over for a play date.  We ate lots of food and colored=).  These two cuties had lots of fun together.  Also, yay for the Patriots winning!  Mike was a happy camper (not pictured because he was downstairs watching the game).

Evening snuggles with our cutie.  I love it when she is in a good mood at bed time (not always the case...)

Weather has been hit or miss this winter.  We have had lots of rain but a few really nice days scattered in the mix.  Two weekends ago was one of those great winter weather weekends. We made sure to spend lots of time outside!
All smiles at our neighborhood park

Always on the go!
On Sunday, the nice weather continued and we had a long overdue play date at Avalon scheduled with Aunt Lauren, Caroline, and baby McKinley Kate.  I was very curious to see how Molly would do with the little baby.  Overall, she did okay but there were definitely major signs on jealously.  Molly clung to Caroline when I held McKinley and definitely shot me a few looks. She also was acting super silly and boisterous which I am pretty sure was a successful attempt to get all of our attention.  I was so grateful to have the extra set of hands so I could actually get a little shopping in;).  I am excited as the girls get older and the age difference becomes less noticeable.  I just know they will be the best of friends=).

"Mom, who is the cutie stealing my thunder?"

This past weekend was the long awaited sibling ski trip to Breckenridge and Vail.  Mike and I were so excited to spend some quality time with this crew.  We also got to see Mike's sister Amy and brother in law Joe who live in Denver.

The view from our cabin was gorgeous!

Loved my brother/sister time!

Courtney and I before her little "incident".  She may have torn her ACL on the first run but she was a good sport about it!

On our way up!

Most of our crew (missing Court and Kelly)

Sisters!

While Mike and I were away, Nana Robynne was gracious enough to come watch Molly.  She is a brave soul for offering to stay 4 nights!  We missed Molly so much while we were gone but the picture we got from Nana Robynne made us smile and realize I don't think she was missing us too much;).  Molly had play dates with her cousin Jacob twice, a Valentine's Day dinner, made cookies for Mommy and Daddy and was spoiled rotten!

In my princess tent with Nanna!

Cookies made by Nanna and Molly.  Had to capture a picture of the first cookies Molly baked.

PS: Papa Keith drove up for the weekend as well.  Hoping to get some pictures with him soon!  Also present was Winston and Nala the dog.  I found it so funny to hear that Molly was not a fan of Winston.  Apparently after Red Bull, Molly has a preference for large dogs only=).

Boy were we excited to come back and see our girl....I love her so!

We have another big week coming up.  Mike and I leave for Chrissy and Jon's wedding in Charleston and Gigi, Mimi, and Grandpa G will be coming in for round 2 of babysitting and for what I am quite sure will be more spoiling!  Molly is surely a lucky lady.
